Job description
As Central Finance Manager, you are a key part of the Central Finance team within Invesis. You will be based in our head office in Utrecht and interact with finance and staff across our business units: Netherlands & Belgium, UK & Ireland, Germany and International (Australia).
Our Central Finance team, consisting of five colleagues, is responsible for ensuring the quality and consistency of the financial & management reporting on our international portfolio of public-private partnership projects. Due to our continued portfolio growth and the increasing complexity of the external reporting environment, we are expanding our team. In addition, we are in the process of the design & implementation of a new ERP system and consolidation & reporting application.

Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities (not exhaustive)
- Preparation of consolidated financial statements (IFRS), including managing the external audit of Invesis Group as well as our circa €1bn investment fund with PGGM.
- Coordination, preparation and analysis of quarterly consolidated financial & cash flow forecasting to key stakeholders to support strategic decision-making. Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Pro-actively provide IFRS accounting advice to our business units including IFRS position papers.
- Assist all business units with accounting and reporting issues.
- Preparation of Dutch fiscal unity tax returns for Invesis Group and our investment fund.
Involvement in (not exhaustive)
- Implementation of our new ERP and consolidation & reporting application.
- Identify and help implement improvements in the effectiveness and efficiency of our financial & management reporting to key stakeholders and the underlying processes & systems.
- Contribute to other Central Finance activities such as treasury, cross border tax compliance, CSRD reporting.

Who are we looking for?
- A Master’s degree in Finance or similar with an academic mindset. Professional certification (e.g. RA, CPA, ACCA) is preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years work experience.
- Proven experience in IFRS financial statements and consolidation procedures.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, diligence and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Excel (and MS Office in general). Experience with financial software is a plus.
- Good knowledge of IFRS and willingness to further strengthen your ‘technical’ skills. Appreciating the challenge to interpret and apply general accounting guidelines to a business specific context.
- Curiosity to understand the business. Open discussion partner at all levels, both with internal and external stakeholders. Daring to ask difficult questions and will continue asking questions where others stop.
- Excellent interpersonal, relationship building and networking skills.
- Strong communication skills, both spoken and written, good command of the English language.
