Meet our expert, Alison Stewart
Work experience
Alison Stewart was appointed Head of Project Finance at Invesis in September 2011. She is a Chartered Management Accountant with 25 years’ experience in accounting and finance within the construction, PPP, and facilities management industries.
Alison is responsible for the management and delivery of all financial aspects of Invesis’ tender opportunities, ensuring robust investment and financing structures are delivered. She has experience with bidding accommodation and infrastructure projects and has been involved in some of our most notable projects, including the Burgdorf Prison Project in Switzerland, the N25 New Ross Bypass in Ireland, the Silvertown Tunnel Road project in the UK and the Cross River Rail project in Brisbane, Australia.
Alison and her team are closely involved in the development of new sector opportunities, including water and digital infrastructure, and new international markets, such as the US, Canada, and further work in Australia.
Experience in investment and financial work includes reviewing and assessing opportunities; structuring project companies; reviewing and coordinating investors, funders and financial institutions; coordinating financial and accounting and tax advisers; analysing project documentation, financial modelling, structuring and financial documentation, stakeholder management, financial due diligence, and financial close processes, across all sectors.
In addition to managing and coordinating the finance team, Alison is also a member of the senior management team. She is involved in the strategic decisions and management of the company, working closely with the CFO on investment and financial strategies, and coordinating with the CSR team.
