We are delighted to have been shortlisted for this year’s Partnerships Awards, our entries include ‘The N31 Motorway in the Netherlands for Best Operational Project – Defence, transportation, Industry’, and ‘Egied Van Broeckhoven School in Belgium for Best Education and Higher Education Project’.
The N31 Motorway in the Netherlands
Invesis as part of the Wâldwei.com consortium was awarded the N31 design, build, finance and maintain (DBFM) project in 2003, it was the Netherlands first DBFM project. In December 2022, after 19 years of successful partnership between our consortium and client, the project reached the end of the concession period and was successfully handed back.
The success of the project gave the Dutch government the confidence to stipulate that all transport infrastructure projects worth over a set amount must now be tendered in the form of a PPP.

Egied Van Broeckhoven School in Molenbeek, Belgium
In June 2022, procurer VZW Ignatius Scholen in Beweging and the ABC 02 consortium (led by Invesis and Alheembouw nv) signed the contract to deliver the new Egied Van Broeckhoven School in Molenbeek, Belgium. A school that will offer 850 places for Dutch-language education, practical and theoretical subjects, within a new building which will include project spaces, an auditorium, an open learning landscape, a multifunctional room and a sports hall, totalling 13,000 m² of new or renovated building space.
