Work experience

Orla is a Senior Investment Manager within our Origination Team, focusing on identifying and developing investment prospects across our Core sector, PPP, in the UK & Ireland. Orla brings over two decades of experience in developing and delivering large scale PPP projects. She possesses extensive knowledge and expertise in the Irish PPP market, including 7 projects in Ireland with Invesis.

With practical experience in driving project development and execution, Orla has consistently demonstrated a dedication to excellence in project management, organisational efficiency, and seamless coordination within diverse, large teams. With a vast amount of expertise in managing complex projects that require careful attention to detail, she demonstrates a proven talent for coordinating, prioritising and effectively leading teams.

Orla’s involvement in the Irish PPP market dates back to 2003. Before joining Invesis, she collaborated with the Celtic Roads Group (CRG) consortium. CRG, an international consortium comprising three companies, united to bid for road construction projects under the NDP Plan, 2000-2006. CRG stands out as the most successful consortium in the NRA’s initial PPP Roads Programme, having effectively closed the M1 Dundalk PPP, the N25 Waterford Bypass, and M7/M8 Portlaoise Motorway. Orla contributed to all three projects, accumulating extensive experience and insight into the Irish PPP market and the rigorous requirements of the procurement process.

More recently she has focused on complex multi-site accommodation projects in Ireland such as Schools Bundle 3 and the Courts PPP Project. Her work involves delivering value-driven solutions and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and sustainability objectives.

Orla’s extensive experience equips her to lead large teams and promptly and efficiently address challenges. She is dedicated to fostering and nurturing trusting relationships with clients and internal partners, offering a comprehensive perspective to the projects she engages in, thereby enabling the team to devise innovative integrated solutions. Acknowledged for her adept navigation of high-pressure environments while upholding a focus on delivering outcomes, Orla’s experience grants her a deep comprehension of PPP, encompassing every stage of the project life span.
