Work experience

Michael Gillespie is a qualified solicitor with over 25 years’ legal experience. Michael has extensive experience across a number of jurisdictions having successfully managed bids to financial close in the UK, Ireland, Germany, Switzerland and Australia. His expertise spans a range of sectors, including education, justice, health, roads, tunnels and rail.

As a key member of the senior management team for the UK and Ireland business unit, Michael plays a critical role in overseeing the legal process during bids, supporting delivery teams in managing the company’s assets, and guiding the legal aspects on the refinancing of projects.

Before joining Invesis in 2005, Michael gained valuable experience in both the public and private sectors.
